Susannah Bettag Bettag's work meshes ruminations on fantasy, the subconcious, transgression, self-worth and sexual self-revelation. It questions the roles of women and the roles we play as observers of women, and while her paintings are exquisite objects, her playful, humorous and non-dogmatic approach intensifies each painting's ability to critique. Bettag received her B.A. at Camberwell College of Arts and Crafts in London, England. Her artwork has been exhibited in fairs and galleries in New York, Los Angeles and San Francisco.
